Working!!

Working! is a manga series written and illustrated by Karino Takatsu. The published since January 2005 and is still continuing series was adapted both by several radio plays as well as an animated by A-1 Pictures anime television series.

Content

Formation and Publications

Its beginnings was working! in a web comic of the same name, which was also written by the author Karino Takatsu later. On the website of individual strips were first published at irregular intervals, but differ both in the style of action as well as in the representation of the resulting adult manga series. The series itself, which is written in the style of Yonkoma, first appeared in the January 2005 issue of the magazine Young Gangan and is continued ever since. A first summary of each chapter as a tankōbon was released on 25 December 2005 by Square Enix, the publisher of the magazine. Ten new chapters have since been offered for mobile phones as a download. In advance of the anime adaptation chapters were also published in two weekly intervals on the website of the anime.

Outside Japan, the manga was licensed for a Chinese translation in Taiwan by Tong Li Comics.

Adaptations

Radio plays

Square Enix released under the title Young Gangan Book Add CD Working! (ヤング ガンガン ブック·イン· CD WORKING! ) Three radio plays for the manga, whose storyline of Shogo Mukai was written. The first CD was released on 25 January 2007 along with a comprehensive 96-page booklet that also contained an extra chapter from the manga series in addition to a transcript of the story. The second and third CD containing a similarly comprehensive booklet and published on 25 April 2008 and 25 March 2009.

Anime

Directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike an eponymous anime television series was produced in the animation studio A-1 Pictures. The character design is based on the manga of the template and was adapted by Shingo Adachi to the series. The management of the animation took over Shingo Adachi, while Kenichi Tajiri held the artistic director.

The first episode of the series, scheduled for 13 episodes aired on 4 April 2010 on the Japanese television station Tokyo MX. There the series a few days ran until June 26, 2010. Till a few weeks later also started the station AT- X, Chūkyō TV, STV and Yomiuri TV with the broadcast. The first episode has already been transferred on March 6, 2010 by Tokyo MX as a kind of preview in advance.

The series was released in Japan on 7 DVDs that were released between 21 April and 27 October 2010. An omnibus edition on Blu -ray Discs will follow on August 24, 2011. NIS America licensed the series for the U.S. market and released it under the name Wagnaria! in March 2011.

After an April Fool's joke with figures of the original webcomics a second season was announced on 2 April 2011, on the website of the anime. Instead Yoshimasa Hiraike Atsushi Otsuki will be directed by Takao Yoshioka and oversee the screenplays. As in the first series takes Shingo Adachi character design and management of the animation and monaca the composition of music. The second season called Working '! ( with apostrophe) was aired from October 1 to December 24, 2011 on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV and Gunma TV, and within a week to Sapporo TV, Yomiuri TV, Chūkyō TV.

Music

For the opening credits sequence from 2 of the series the title SOMEONE ELSE was recorded, which was interpreted by Eri Kitamura, Kana Asumi Saki Fujita and. In the credits sequence from two of the titles Heart no Edge ni Idomō Go to Heart Edge (ハート の エッジ に 挑も うGo to Heart Edge ) was played, which was sung by Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono and Hiroshi Kamiya. The composition and arrangement of both titles come from Satoru Kosaki. However, Episode 9 used as credits Golden Day (ゴールデン·デイ, Gōruden Dei ), sung by Saki Fujita. The first sequence used neither advantages nor the credits.

Both titles were released together on April 21, 2010 on the single SOMEONE ELSE ( ANZB - 9651 ).

The second season episode from 2 used in the opening credits Coolish Walk, sung by Kana Asumi, Saki Fujita and Eri Kitamura, and uncredited Itsumo no Yo Love & Peace! (いつも の よう にLOVE & PEACE! ), Sung by Jun Fukuyama, Daisuke Ono and Hiroshi Kamiya. The first episode was not using a header and uncredited came to the biasing titles of the later episodes used.

The lyrics come respectively from Kenzo Saeki.

The fourth tankōbon edition of Working! was in the week of 23 to 29 October 2007, the siebenthäufigst -selling issue in Japan. The sixth edition sold in the week from 24 to 30 March, 2009 73,000 times and reached the sixth place, edited by Oricon rankings.
