World Federation of Engineering Organizations

 

The World Federation of Engineering Organizations ( WFEO; French Federation Mondiale d' organization of the engineer, FMOI ) is an international non-governmental organization of all engineers worldwide. The current President Adel Al - Kharafi is from Kuwait.

Founded in 1968 by a group of regional engineering organizations under the auspices of UNESCO in Paris, is the WFEO the only international and transcontinental engineering association representing through its national member associations 15 million engineers.

Structure

The Verwaltungsgremiun the WFEO is the General Assembly. Between the meetings of the General Assembly on all matters of the Federation are handled by the Executive Council and implemented by the Executive Board under the leadership of Executive Director. All decisions of the General Assembly, the Executive Council or the Executive Board are taken by majority decisions.

Conferences

The WFEO bodies meet annually to the General Assembly and the Standing Technical Committee meetings. These sessions are connected to a conference at which independent engineers or enthusiasts, which do not belong to the member clubs, may also participate. Most of the WFEO conferences each year in September.
