World Games 1981
The first World Games 1981 were held in late July and early August 1981, held in Santa Clara (California ) and were the first official World Games event, according to the so-called Pre- World Games, which were held in Seoul in 1978.
It was attended by 1265 athletes participate in 18 sports. There was, in contrast to later World Games, no specific invitation from the venue sports.
