World Games 2013
The 9th World Games took place between August 4, 2013 in the Colombian Cali on 25 July.
History
Originally Been Duisburg and Dusseldorf set as host cities. The two German cities so prevailed against 20 competitors. With Council decision of December 8, 2008 the city of Duisburg has canceled the registration of the event due to the outspoken President of the Government spending freeze for the city of Duisburg again.

Jardín del Deporte
The neighboring towns of Buga and Jamundí held the event Jardín del Deporte from ( "Garden of sport" ), have been shown in the sports that could be included in future in the main event.
In Buga took place:

In Jamundí took place:
- Coliseo Alfaguara y Plaza Mayor - Front Ball
- Estadio El Cacique - Hapkido

With four gold and one silver medal was the German Marcel Hasse Meier 's most successful athlete in the World Games in 2013 and also became the " Athlete of the Year".
