World Mayor
World Mayor is an award that has been awarded since 2004 by The City Mayors Foundation. This price is intended to increase the prestige of the world's mayors and reward those who have made outstanding contributions to their communities. The award is not affiliated to a particular city or organization and is not commercial. Helen Zille and Leopoldo Lopez discussed their nomination in 2008 in the program " Outlook " on the BBC. Since 2006, the prize is awarded every two years.
