Worlds Apart (...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead album)

Worlds Apart is the fourth studio album by the Texas band ... And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead. It was recorded during the year 2004 and published on 24 January 2005 on Interscope Records.

Although the album reached the Top 100 of the UK and U.S. album charts, but was in comparison to the previous album, Source Tags & Codes, which is about twice as good sold, not a commercial success.

Reviews

Of the critics, the album was recorded very differently. While the German music magazine Visions Worlds Apart has named Album of the Year 2005, there were, for example, by Pitchfork Media only 4.0 out of 10. Allmusic and Rolling Stone gave the English language respectively 3.5 out of 5.

Artwork

The artwork is drawn by the singer Conrad Keely itself and shows a great historical battle and a skillfully designed logo of the band name. In an interview, Keely said, referring to the artwork: " I wanted to allegory depicting the history of human conflict. " ( German: "I wanted an allegory that represents the history of human conflict. ").
