Wrathchild

Wrathchild was founded in 1980, British Thrash-/Glam-Rock-Band. This band for its extravagant, garish appearance ( make-up, wigs, rivets) was known.

History

Wrathchild was founded in 1980 in Evesham, England by Marc Angel and Phil " Wrathchild " Vokins. They recruited as lead vocalist Rocky Shades and Brian "Thunder Burst" on drums Parry. Phil Vokins and Brian Parry left the band in 1981. Thereupon the recognized guitarist Lance missile came from the band Medusa and drummer Eddie Stern to do so. Following the publication of a series of demos, such as mascara Massacre in 1982 the band was offered a recording contract by Bullet Records. Here they released in 1983 their first album Stackheel Strutt.
