Würm near Pforzheim

The Würm is an approximately 54 km long river through the Gaeu in Baden- Württemberg, which rises in the beautiful book and opens into Pforzheim from the right and south into the lowest Nagold.

General

The Würm has two source streams at Hildrizhausen and at Altdorf ( " Altdorfer Würm " ), by moving to their union the Gaeu in north- northwesterly direction and eventually flows on the southern outskirts of Pforzheim in the Black Forest little ahead of their own mouth in the Nagold one. The Würm is 53.9 km long and drains an area of 418.3 km ², it is now the longest and richest catchment inflow of Nagold. On average, it performs about 1930 l / s (measured in sheep Hausen ). Since 2009, a bike path runs through the entire Würmtal.

  • Ludlensbach, from right after the little previous to about 448 m above sea level. NN, 1.958 km. Arises west of the B 494 on the northern edge Holzgerlingens on a dirt road underpass at about 497 m above sea level. NN.
  • Glems Bach, right opposite the two small ponds in Würmtal Maurener valley at 439.1 m above sea level. NN about half a kilometer before crossing under the A81, 1.916 km. Developed at a forest road fork north of Hörnles to about 470 m above sea level. NN. Shifting the headwaters of another approximately 0.3 km in length, the.
