Wüstenrot Tower

The Wüstenrot Tower is a skyscraper in Ludwigsburg. It is the central administrative building of GdF Wüstenrot, the first German building society.

The building was built in the years 1972 to 1974 according to the designs of the Stuttgart Professor Ludwig Hilmar cress. It is 72 meters high (with antenna 79 meters). Thus, the Wüstenrot skyscraper was the tallest skyscraper in Baden- Württemberg in the completion. For the metropolitan region of Stuttgart, this was still considered until 2004. It is now the tallest habitable building of Ludwigsburg and also one of the tallest buildings in the Stuttgart area.
