In order to make this new Matchart the fans known and promote the WWE introduced in September 2009 through a survey, what to call the new event. The fans could choose between Elimination Chamber, Heavy Metal, Battle Chamber, Chamber of Conflict and the previous name No Way Out. The name Elimination Chamber received the most votes from the fans, and so the big event was renamed accordingly.

In this country, the Elimination Chamber is not marketed by the WWE with his official name. The background is the problem with the Holocaust in Germany, since the literal translation of " Elimination Chamber " "extermination chamber " or "extermination chamber " means and is reminiscent of the gas chambers in the death camps of the Nazis. In order to avoid any association with the Third Reich, the WWE marketed the big event in Germany from 2010 to 2012 with its original name No Way Out. Since 2012, No Way Out but again an independent PPV constituted in June, Elimination Chamber is marketed since 2013 as No Escape in Germany.
