Wilmesaurisch ( Wymysiöeryś ) is a micro- literary language, which has evolved from a central German dialect and in the small, situated on the border between Silesia and Lesser Poland City Wilamowice ( Wilmesaurisch: Wymysoj, German: Wilmesau ) is spoken in Bielsko- Biała.

History

Wilmesaurisch seems to be derived from the Middle German of the 12th century, with a strong Low German, Dutch, Frisian, Polish and English influence.

Probably the inhabitants of Wilamowice descendants of Flemish, German, and Scottish settlers who populated Poland in the 13th century. However, the inhabitants of Wilamowice refused always possible links with Germany and insisted on their Flemish origin.

Wilmesaurisch the vernacular was in Wilamowice to 1945 / 1949. After the Second World War, the local Communists banned the use of language. Although the ban was lifted after 1956, Wilmesaurisch has been gradually replaced, especially in the younger generations by Polish.
