Xabier Castillo

Xabier Castillo Aranburu ( born March 29, 1986 in Durango ) is a Spanish footballer who plays for UD Las Palmas.

Playing career

Xabier Castillo began his career as a footballer at the Basque club Real Sociedad tradition. From 2004 to 2006 he played there in the B team in the Segunda División B. He then was loaned to second-division promoted UD Las Palmas, where he set up and was able to work out a regular place. After a great season and the league with Las Palmas now be abgestiegener Club brought him back and carried him into the first team, which was now relegated to the Segunda División. There, too, Xabier Castillo was able to prevail and over the following two years to 71 league games. 2009 saw Castillo in the Primera División for Basque rivals Athletic Bilbao.
