Xiaodao lun

The Xiaodao lun (Chinese笑道 论/笑道 论, Pinyin Xiaodao Lun, W.-G. Hsiao -tao lun, english Laughing at the Tao About the Dao laugh ') from the Daoist renegades and mathematician Zhen Luan (甄 鸾 ) from the year 570 the reign of Emperor Wu (r. 560-78 ) of the Northern Zhou Dynasty ( 556-581 ) is a polemic about the ridiculousness of the Daoist religion. It reproduces the debates between supporters of Buddhism and Taoism in medieval China in the 6th century. The absurdities and contradictions of Daoist doctrine, mythology, rituals and religious practices be disclosed from a Buddhist perspective.

The work is in the Buddhist canon in Guang Hongming ji广 弘 明 集included ( T. 2103 ).
