Ya Kid K

Ya Kid K ( born January 26, 1973 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo; civil Manuela Barbara Moasco Kamosi ) is a rap musician and singer.

Life

Kamosi was born in Democratic Republic of Congo ( Zaire) and moved at the age of 11 years to Belgium. From there they traveled to Chicago.

Back in Belgium, she started in the " Fresh Beat Productions crew" to rap, whereby the Belgian producer Jo Bogaert Techno noticed her and with her, as well as MC Eric Martin founded the music project Technotronic. Ya Kid K was mention the singer of world hit " Pump Up The Jam". On the cover was Felly, ( from Zaire derived Fashion Model), mapped and managed as a featured artist.

In 1992 she released the solo album "One World Nation ", which reached no chart position. Only the single Let This House beat drop was also placed at number 21 in the Dance Music / Club Play Singles Chart.

In 1996, she published together with Robi Rob's Club World the single Shake That Body. The single was, as the song Make That Money on the eponymous album " Robi - Rob 's Club World" included. The single Shake That Body was also released on the soundtrack to the movie " A Night at the Roxburry ".

Since then, she has been principal represented with guest contributions on various singles, albums and compilations.
