Yaani King
Yaani King ( born August 10, 1981 in New York City ) is an American actress.
Life and achievements
King is a daughter of a police officer who was temporarily working as an actress. She grew up in Queens. King was taught as a teenager at the High School of Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. At the age of 17 she made her debut as an actress in the off-Broadway play The Alchemist.
In the thriller In the Cut (2003) King was seen on the side of Jennifer Jason Leigh and Meg Ryan. In the film drama God 's Forgotten House (2005), which was awarded in 2007 with the California Award of Excellence, she took one of the major roles. They played an important role also in the fantasy comedy For Heaven 's Sake (2006). In the film drama Gospel Hill ( 2008), she appeared alongside Giancarlo Esposito and Danny Glover.
