Yamaneko Group of Comet Observers

The Yamaneko Group of Comet Observers ( YGCO ) is a well known group of Japanese astronomer and comet observers. It was founded in 1980 by the astronomer Akimasa Nakamura and Kiyotaka Ichikawa. The members operate observatories in Chiyoda Chiyoda YGCO station as well as in Hoshikawa and Nagano YGCO Hoshikawa and Nagano station and have about 12,300 astronomical and 6300 photometric observations documented.
