Yarkant County

Yarkant is a circle of the district of Kashgar in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 7960 km ². Its main town is the large village Yarkant ( Shache Zhen莎车 镇) (38 ° 24'51 "N, 77 ° 14'49 " E ) between Kashgar and Hotan 38.414173407577.24689985251230 on the southern route of the Silk Road.
