Yasser Elshantaf

Yasser Elshantaf (Arabic ياسر الشنتف, DMG Yasir aš - Santaf; * January 1983 in the Gaza Strip ) is a Palestinian entrepreneur and CEO of the Phoenix Bird Diversity Management GmbH.

Elshantaf was born in a refugee camp al- Shati in the Gaza Strip. His parents had to flee to the refugee camp al- Shati in Gaza City during the Palestine War in 1948. He studied Information System, Political Science & crisis management.

In 2009 he traveled to Germany when he won the Konrad Zuse's programs as an entrepreneur. The award was presented by the German Federal Foreign Office.

Elshantaf is the co-founder of the German -Palestinian Economic Council ( DPW ) eV, a member of the international non-profit association for CEOs and entrepreneurs, the Junior Chamber International, and a member of the Palestinian Information Technology Association.

He has also been involved in many activities of the Palestinian community economy.

Private

Elshantaf is Muslim, married. He lives in Berlin.
