The Jausa (Russian Яуза ) is a left tributary of the Moskva River and after that with about 48 km the second longest river in the city of Moscow. It rises in the moors before the north-eastern border of the city and flows into the Moskva River in the historic center of the city, close to the building on the Kotelnicheskaya embankment. There are a total of 24 bridges over the Jausa, including two underground bridges and the listed aqueduct in Rostokino. Within the Moscow Jausa from the mouth to the Preobraschenskaja space for smaller vessels is passable.

On Jausa - shore are the building of the Moscow State Technical University.
