The Yea River is a river in the middle of the Australian state of Victoria.

It rises on Mount Tanglefoot east of Toolangi north of the Yarra Ranges National Park, flows north and empties near the town of Yea in the Goulburn River.

River and the city were named after Colonel Lacy Walter Yea, a British Army officer who fell in the Crimean War in 1855. This year, the city was founded Yea.
