Yevgeniy Gavrilenko

Yevgeny Mikhailovich Gavrilenko (Russian: Евгений Михайлович Гавриленко, English transcription Yevgeniy Gavrilenko, . Born April 5, 1951 in Gomel ) is a former Soviet hurdler, who specializes in the 400-meter distance.

The European Athletics Championships 1971 in Helsinki he finished fifth and at the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972 sixth.

In each case the bronze medal he won at the European Championships 1974 in Rome and at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.

Four times he was a Soviet champion (1972, 1974-1976 ). His personal best of 49.02 s he put up in Munich on 30 May 1976.
