Yevgeniy Mironov

Yevgeny Mironov Vasilyevich (Russian: Евгений Васильевич Миронов, English transcription Yevgeniy Mironov, . Born 1 November 1949 in Staraya Russa ) is a former Soviet shot putter.

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal and at the European Athletics Championships 1978 in Prague, he won the silver medal.

In 1976 he was a Soviet champion with his personal best of 21.53 m. In 1981, he won the national title again.
