The Yi Sun -sin Bridge ( Korean: 이순신 대교 편집 하기 ) is a suspension bridge opened in 2012 in South Korea. She is currently with a span of 1545 m, the fourth- longest suspension bridge in the world. The entire building is 2260 m long. The pylons are the highest in the world with 273 m. The track support is 29 m wide and carries four lanes.

Originally Gwangyang Bridge designated building the access road leading to the Yeosu Industrial Complex of Gwangyang to Modo island. The bridge is now named after the Korean military leaders Yi Sun -sin, the year of birth of Yi Sun -sin corresponds to the span of the bridge.

The bridge crosses the entrance to the Gwangyang Bay, which is part of the Korea Strait. At the northern end of the bridge is one of the largest steel plants in the world, which is operated by POSCO. At the southern end there is a large oil refinery.

The Yi Sun-sin bridge was configured by the Yooshin Engineering Corporation and built by Daelim Industrial. Construction began in October 2007. To complete the bridge to the Expo 2012, a sliding form of an Austrian company were used for the concrete pylons.
