Yorick van Wageningen
Yorick van Wageningen ( born April 16, 1964 in Baarn, Utrecht, Netherlands) is a Dutch actor.
Career
Van Wageningen played from 1989 several times in TV shows with, then went to the theater for some time and took over in 2000, in the film adaptation of the play Total Loss, the role of " Reinier Kloprogge ".
In 2001 he participated in the movie Soul Assassin, among other things, at various film festivals, Norway, Japan, Egypt, the USA and the Netherlands Film Festival, running. The film was shown in Germany until July 2003 and published in Italy in November 2003 on DVD.
In 2003 he took a role in the film Beyond Borders, the Beyond Borders ran in Germany under the title in theaters. In the movie Riddick: The Chronicles of Riddick ( Dutch: The Chronicles of Riddick ), he took over the role of The Guv.
In the rotated in the 2008 movie Oorlogswinter he played the role of "Uncle Ben". The film is also known under the English title Winter in Wartime and was nominated for the Academy Film Awards, for Best another language speaking film, and the Satellite Award in 2009.
