In turn, each player has the choice between two actions:

Each player keeps his money ( also in the form of playing cards ) face down on the hand. Since at an auction no change shall be made and because the deals are exchanged during the horse-trading concealed, it is difficult to estimate how much money the players keep on hand. Further confusing the worthless money cards, playing cards with the amount zero.

End of the game

It is played until the talon is exhausted and all quartets are distributed, ie No more horse-trading are possible. The total score is derived from the product of the number of quartets and the sum of their weights. The money is worthless in the end.

Strategies and tips for the game

Phase 1 - Auction

  • Look what animal about which "market price" has and climb immediately if you feel it is a bargain
  • Offered in small steps with
  • Specialize in certain animals and see that you're still a few individual have for possible trade still
  • I offer always possible, because the auctioneer might even make use of the right of preemption and then you get the coal
  • If you have the highest bid and feeling not rid of them, the auctioneer makes use of the right of preemption, exaggerating the price itself into the air
  • To observe trials as possible, how much money have your teammates and immediately demand a trade out if you can beat him clearly
  • Give yourself no case in the first phase all the money out, so this could exploit your opponents immediately
  • Since there is no return of money, the player with the most coins is clearly favored, what you can take advantage of in the sense that you manage at best to hoard all coins
  • But I offer myself in the absence of change with unabashed and let you not say this
  • Missing your enemy small change, always offering himself in 50 or 100 steps, this will increase dissuade him
  • Keep your cash card always bundled or concealed

Phase 2 - trade

Think about when each trade, how important to you is the animal. From this, two tactics, and a balance derived:

Animal is necessarily needed

  • Let's challenge yourself as possible, so you can see the number of cards of your challenger.
  • Put as much as your opponent probably will not put.
  • But never Put all your money except the very end as the last trade.
  • Use this tactic especially when animal pairs.

Animal is not needed for the money

  • Always ask yourself if possible out of people, where the trade is important
  • Put as little as possible but never quite zero
  • If you have three animals and your counterpart only one you can the first time around also lose on purpose

Middle

  • Think about exactly how much you and your challenger is worth the animal and try to beat him

Original version

Originally the funds were not replaced during the horse-trading. Both players laid bare their offerings, and the loser was allowed to keep his. It was not multiplied with the number of quartets, ie formed only the sum of the values . In addition, the player could also get 500 points if he had reached the first of a three quartet combination ( tap / goose, cat / dog or sheep / goat).
