You Still Believe in Me

You Still Believe in Me is a song of the music group The Beach Boys, which was released on May 16, 1966 the album Pet Sounds. The music composed, arranged and produced Brian Wilson, in the text he was assisted by Tony Asher.

Formation

You Still Believe in Me from the early development phase (about autumn 1965) of Pet Sounds, which was thought at this time as a concept album about childhood, adolescence and the associated Beigeschmäckern. It is the first piece for which Tony Asher wrote a text. This recalled that Brian Wilson already written a text, but had an open ear for his contribution. Recording

The instrumental track to In My Childhood was taken on November 1, 1965 in the Western Studios in Hollywood and is the first for Pet Sounds recorded and also it used Basic Track. The intro was recorded on January 24, 1966 in the Western Studios, Hollywood.
