Youssef Msakni

Youssef Msakni (Arabic يوسف المساكني; born 28 October 1990) is a Tunisian football player. It is used as a winger or as a playmaker and is currently at the club Lekhwiya from Qatar under contract. Msakni currently regarded as one of the greatest talents of the Tunisian football and as a performer in the national team. In the press Msakni is sometimes referred to as Tunisia's Lionel Messi.

Msakni comes from a family footballers. His father was a national player, his older brother Iheb is also a professional footballer.

His football education received Msakni in the youth of Tunisia Stade. For this club he made his debut in 2007 in the first Tunisian league. In his first professional season, he played 29 games and scored eight goals. Then he signed a contract with Espérance Sportive 2008 de Tunis, one of the top clubs in his country. With Espérance he won from 2009 to 2012 four championships in a row. From the season 2009/10 he came to regular operations. In 2012, he was top scorer with 17 goals. In addition Espérance won the 2011 CAF Champions League, what had Msakni large proportion. 2012 Esperance reached the finals again, but was defeated Al -Ahly.
