Youssef Sabri Abu Taleb

Youssef Sabri Abu Taleb ( born May 24, 1929 † 30 September 2008) was an Egyptian general and politician.

Life

Taleb joined at a young age of the Egyptian army, where he rose to become a general. From April 1989 to May 1991 he was the successor of Abd al - Halim Abu Ghazala Defense Minister of Egypt under President Hosni Mubarak. Previously, he had six years exercised the office of governor in the province of al - Qahira.
