Yuasa Yoshiko

Yuasa Yoshiko (Japanese汤 浅 芳子; born December 7, 1896 in Kyoto, † 24 October 1990) was a Japanese Slawistin ( Russian) and translator.

Biography

Born in Kyoto, Yuasa Yoshiko attended the first woman Slavic Seminar Waseda University in Tōkyō and participated in women's magazines. Nogami Yaeko By Miyamoto Yuriko, she learned to know and lived from 1924 with that which had separated from her then- husband, together. The time from 1927 to 1930 she spent with Miyamoto Yuriko in the Soviet Union and devoted himself then, back in Japan, translation and mediation Russian- Soviet literature.
