Yukiharu Miki

Miki Yukiharu (Japanese三 木 行 治, born May 1, 1903 in Makiishi, Mitsu County (now Okayama ), Okayama Prefecture, † September 21, 1964 ) was a Japanese physician and politician.

Biography

From 3 May 1951 until his death he was governor of Okayama Prefecture. During his time as governor, he carried out considerable modernization to promote the industrial development of the prefecture.

Yukiharu Miki was awarded the 1964 Ramon Magsaysay Award, in the category of government service.
