Yumo Mikyo Dorje

Yumo Mikyö Dorje (Tib. rdo rje yu mo mi bskyod; * 12th century ) was an important Kalachakra master and Shentong ( gzhan stong ) author, a doctrine for emptiness ( Shunyata ). He is considered the founder of the Jonang tradition ( jo nang pa) of Tibetan Buddhism and was a lineage holder of the Jonangpa Kalachakra lineage. He was a pupil of the Kashmiri Pandit Somanātha.

His chief disciple Dharmeshvara or Chokyi Wangchuk ( chos kyi dbang phyug ) continued the transmission line.

Künpang Also Thugje Tsöndrü ( kun spangs thugs rje brtson ' grus, 1243-1313 ), the founder of Jonang monastery, belonged to this Übertragunslinie.
