Yunnan Provincial Museum

The Yunnan Provincial Museum (Chinese云南省 博物馆, Pinyin Yunnan Bówùguǎn, English Yunnan Provincial Museum ) is a museum and a Chinese research institute. The museum was founded in August 1951, is located in Kunming in the Wuli - road ( Wuyi Lu五一 路) No 118 It houses an extensive collection to the different cultures of the minorities of Yunnan as well as a large number of bronzes, including the famous finds of Shizhaishan ( circle Jinning ) and Lijiashan ( circle Jiangchuan ). The finds from the tombs Batatai ( Qujing ) and the Wanjiaba Tombs ( Chuxiong ) are held here.
