Yuty (crater)

Yuty is an impact crater in Chryse Planitia level on Mars.

The crater measures by approximately 20 km and is surrounded by overlapping ejection cloth. One of them partially overlaps an older crater 's edge. This is frequently observed in Mars craters in the equatorial and mid- latitudes surface structures are based on the current theory on accumulations of ice in the subsoil. The resulting by the impact melt water liquefies the ejecta and thus favors the formation of the lobe structures.
