Yves Allégret
Yves Allégret ( born October 13, 1907 in Asnières- sur -Seine, † January 31, 1987 in Paris) was a French film director.
Life
Allégret turned, among other films tavern at the full moon, the proud and Germinal. He was married to the French actress Simone Signoret. Their daughter Catherine Allégret is also an actress. His brother Marc Allégret was also director. Allégret was formerly secretary of the Russian revolutionary Leon Trotsky.
1987 César, he was posthumously awarded for his life's work.
