Yves Dreyfus

Yves Dreyfus ( born May 17, 1931 in Clermont- Ferrand, France ) is a former fencer Jewish- French descent.

He won at the World Fencing Championship in 1962 and the bronze medal at the 1963 World Championships silver medal in the individual competition. In the team competition, he was in 1962, 1965 and 1966 World Champion. 1961, 1963 and 1967, he won silver, 1954, there were bronze in the team. At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 Dreyfus reached the bronze medal in the team and was able to repeat in 1964 in Tokyo. The Maccabiah Games in Israel in 1961 he reached the gold medal in singles. 1977 brought Dreyfus is just there gold in the individual and in the team standings.
