Yves Saint-Martin

Yves Saint -Martin ( born September 8, 1941 in Agen ) is a French former jockey.

Yves Saint- Martin is one of the most successful jockeys of the flat racing. After his first victory on 26 July 1958, he won 3314 races in his career, including 3275 in France. Four times he won the Prix de l' Arc de Triomphe (1970, 1974, 1982 and 1984), no other rider achieved this more often. Even with other major horse races he holds the records for the highest number of victories, such as the Prix du Jockey Club or at the Prix de Diane. In the winners' lists German race he is led, for example, the price of the Winter Favorites (1970) and the Prize of Europe (1985).
