Yvette Pierpaoli

Yvette Pierpaoli ( born March 18, 1938 in Le Ban -Saint -Martin, † 18 April 1999 in Albania) was a French refugee assistant.

Yvette Pierpaoli came as an Italian father and a French mother born child. She was one of the first female radio amateurs of France. Pierpaoli worked in Asia, Africa, South America and South-Eastern Europe as a refugee assistant. John le Carré dedicated to her his novel The Constant Gardener. She was killed in a car accident in Albania.
