Zacharias Chrysopolitanus

Zacharias Chrysopolitanus was a scholastic and Premonstratensian Canons of the 12th century.

He acts as Magister first demonstrated at the cathedral of the French city of Besançon (Latin name Chrysopolis ) of 25 July 1131 to about to 1138. Between 1140 and 1145 he wrote his single handed- work " in unum ex quatuor, sive de concordia evangelistarum ". It is a scholastic commentary on the Diatessaron of Ammonius of Alexandria in 181 chapters. According to the Chronicle of Alberic of Trois -Fontaines Zacharias occurs after 1145 in the Norbertine abbey of St. Martin in Laon. Against 1155 it should have died.
