Zack Hemsey

Zack Hemsey C. (* 1983) is an American composer and music producer who in the third trailer of the thriller Inception gained international prominence particularly through his song "Mind Heist ".

Life

Zack Hemsey grew up with his older sister Tara, a homosexual artist, in New Jersey. Inspired by film music and Metal would soon be a film composer, so he after graduating from Palisades Park Junior Hemsey - studied Senior High School from 2001 to 2005 at Rutgers University music and philosophy and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Already during his studies he worked as an assistant at RMI before he worked from November 2005 to August 2007 in the Music Studio The Lodge as a composer. He then started his own business as a composer and musician. About two years later, he also finished his commitment to Nine Leaves, a hip- hop ensemble that worked with classical music, in which he worked for 10 years as a composer and lyricist.

International Hemsey was then known, after his song Mind Heist was selected for the third trailer of Inception, a thriller directed by Christopher Nolan. After the television series South Park parodied the song in the episode " compulsive hoarding syndrome " ( Insheeption ) and several trailers of other films, backed by Mind Heist appeared on YouTube, to Hemsey was surprised and grateful that his song is not only " the spirit of the people met, "but even" cultural impact " would have. Then, when the film composer Steve Jablonsky then parts of Mind Heist nearly identical to his own song It's Our Fight to the soundtrack of Transformers 3 used, said Hemsey that he understood it as a compliment and proud of it was that such a well-known film composer inspired by his work been.

Amused to Hemsey also showed repeatedly about the rumor that he does not exist and only was a pseudonym Hans Zimmer.
