Zaoyang

The city Zaoyang (Ch枣阳 市) is a county-level city in Hubei Province in central China, which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Xiangyang. It has an area of ​​3277 km ² and has 1.1 million inhabitants.

The Neolithic Diaolongbei - site ( Diaolongbei Yuzhi雕龙 碑 遗址) and the Jiuliandun Tombs ( Jiuliandun Muqun九 连 墩 墓群) are on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 and 2006 respectively.
