Zdeněk Moravec

Zdeněk Moravec ( born 1968 ) is a Czech astronomer and astrophysicist.

He graduated from the Charles University in Prague. From 1992 to 2000 he worked at Kleť Observatory. There he discovered between 1994 and 1998 a total of 91 asteroids, 64 of them along with Miloš Tichý. Since 2001 he teaches as a lecturer at the Department of Physics at the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.
