Zdeněk Šreiner

Zdeněk Šreiner ( born June 2, 1954 in Ostrava ) is a former Czech football player.

Club career

Šreiner began playing football at TJ Vitkovice and later moved to city rivals Banik Ostrava.

With Banik won Šreiner 1980 and 1981, the Czechoslovak Championship, the 1978 Czechoslovak Cup. After 291 first division matches and 33 goals Šreiner moved to French club AS Beauvais.

National

Šreiner played in the years 1980-1984 a total of six times for the Czechoslovakian national team.

Olympic Team

Zdeněk Šreiner was 1980 Czechoslovak selection, in Moscow won the gold medal at the Olympic Games. The midfielder played the match against Nigeria as well as the quarter-finals against Cuba and the semi-final against Yugoslavia.
