Zdunowo, Szczecin

Zdunowo ( German Hohenkrug in August Walde ) is a district of the Polish city of Szczecin in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Zdunowo is surrounded by a pine forest on the former Pomeranian main railway line between Szczecin and Stargard. Not far from the train station is located with a total size of about 22 hectares, the site of the former tuberculosis sanatorium Hohenkrug, built by Wilhelm Meyer- Schwartau to 1915. Nowadays located on the former sanatorium grounds the specialist hospital Szpital Zdunowo.

Until 1945, there was in Hohenkrug a paper mill from field mill.
