Zdzisław Kostrzewa

Zdzisław Kostrzewa ( born October 26, 1955 in Wroclaw, Poland, † 18 May 1991, Australia) was a Polish football player.

The 1.82 m wide and 85 -kg goalie played in youth at Lotnik Wrocław, before he started his professional career in 1973 at Zagłębie Wałbrzych, from where he moved to Zagłębie Sosnowiec and 1979 Slask Wrocław 1976. From 1984 to 1987, he also played for Ślęza Wrocław in the Polish 2nd league. In 1987 he emigrated to Australia, where he played two seasons for long Polonia Melbourne. Overall, he played three 'A' matches for Poland and accepted as the third goalkeeper with Poland participated in the 1978 World Cup in Argentina. In 1991, he died in an accident in Australia.
