Željko Pavlović

Željko Pavlović ( born March 2, 1971 in Sarajevo ) is a former Croatian football player.

Career

Pavlović started his professional career at FK Sarajevo in what is now Bosnia - Herzegovina. After good performances of the goalkeeper moved to Croatia Zagreb. About his next club NK Zagreb he came to Austria for FC Linz. After the merger of the two Linzer big clubs he played from 1997 to 2001 for the LASK. After the descent of the Linz to the second power stage of the goalie went to RSC Anderlecht, but could not prevail. After two years in Belgium we went back to Austria, this time to Austria Salzburg, but even there it was not enough for the goalkeeper. After half a year at FC Kärnten in the second division of the Croat went in 2004 to FC Wacker Tirol, where his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2008.

Pavlović played seven times in the Croatian national team.
