The Zengő [ zɛŋɡø ː ] is with 682 m the highest mountain in the southern Hungarian Mecsek Mountains. He is continuously covered with deciduous forest, only a very few cool and shady places comes a little - in the coniferous forest - a little sickly.
Currently running a large-scale environmental campaign to protect the Zengő because the Hungarian government wants to build on the Mecsek a radar system for military surveillance of airspace, although the mountain is a nature reserve.
The Zengő can be reached via hiking trails from Hosszúhetény, Püspökszentlászló Kisújbánya and Pécsvárad.
