Zenon Licznerski

Zenon Licznerski ( born November 27, 1954 in Elbląg ) is a former Polish sprinter.

In 1975, he took in the Indoor Athletics Championships in Katowice the bronze medal in the 60 - meter dash. With the Polish 4 x 100 meters relay he finished fourth at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. In the 100 -meter run, he left in the quarter-final round. The European Athletics Championships 1978 in Prague, he won jointly with Zenon Nowosz, Leszek Dunecki and Marian Woronin the title in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. In addition Licznerski finished sixth in the 200 -meter run.

The next success in the season, he scored at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow. Together with Krzysztof Zwoliński, Leszek Dunecki and Marian Woronin he won the silver medal. In the 200 -meter run Licznerski failed, however, in the quarterfinal round.

He also finished with the relay at the European Athletics Championships 1982 in Athens fifth place at the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki sixth place.

Zenon Licznerski is 1,82 m tall and had a competition weight of 74 kg. He started among other things for athletics departments of Gornik Zabrze and Legia Warsaw.
