Zeta Puppis

Naos ( "ship "), even Suhail Hadar (Arabic سهيل هدار, DMG Suhail Hadar ), is the name of the blue supergiant ζ Puppis (Zeta Puppis ). Naos belongs to the spectral class O5Ia and is approximately 1100 light years away. It has an apparent magnitude of about 2 mag. Naos was the main star of the ancient Egyptian constellation of stars in the water.
