Zevulun Hammer

Zebulun Hammer (Hebrew זְבֻלוֹן הַמֵּר, born May 31, 1936 in Haifa, League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, † January 20, 1998 in Jerusalem, Israel) was an Israeli politician, minister and deputy prime minister of the country.

Life

Hammer was a lead member of the Bnei Akiva youth organization (Hebrew בְּנֵי עֲקִיבָא; lit children Akiba. ) And served in the Israeli Chejil Schirjion (Hebrew חֵיל שִׁרְיוֹן ) a corps of the IDF, which at the Nahal program (Hebrew נח " ל ) participated.
