Zhang He

Zhang He (Chinese张 郃, Pinyin Zhang He, * 167, † 231) was a Chinese general of the late Han Dynasty and the Three Kingdoms period.

At the end of the reign of Emperor Ling Zhang He a paramilitary force under Han Fu joined, in which he fought as commander of the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Later he went to Yuan Shao's services, where he rose to lieutenant general thanks to its successes against the warlord Gongsun Zan. After the defeat of Guandu against the warlord Cao Cao (200 ) he and the officer Gao Lan forced to Cao Cao to join.

Under Cao Cao Zhang He was appointed General. He helped with the agreement of the Central Plains, the defense of Tong Gate against Ma Chao and the use and protection of Han Zhong, whose governor he was.
